Talk about makan and everyone starts to drool. Although the word makan is a Malay word but in Singapore it’s the universal language or understanding for food! This episode takes a look at the evolution of makan places in Singapore since its post-independent period. Not surprisingly, the act of makan being a national hobby has got many Singaporeans blogging about their own experiences of eating not just in Singapore but also overseas.

What do you get when you combine the love for food and techie gadgets savvy people? The answer is foodies, otherwise known as food bloggers. Increasingly becoming a popular trend and the most efficient and fastest way to network and share opinions, food bloggers have found a way to share everything that you need to know about food from recipes to the latest gossip in town for the best curry or nasi lemak experience through blogging! Combining their passion for food, the way it is being prepared and how it should be enjoyed, local foodies get gastronomic delights from the sheer excitement of discussing about anything related to food, online.

Hear about the famous makan places that has got the whole town talking and how technology bonds foodies in once regarded as the most unthinkable manner.
